NEW recruit to the yard who is a former Gerard Butler trained 80 rated ex flat horse who has won on his first attempt over hurdles at Towcester recently. Has schooled well at home and will be a nice summer jumper. Sensibly priced to stay in the yard.
Cordage showed his 13 rivals a clean pair of heels in the last race at bath yesterday (14th June) when he won at 11/1 under an intelligent ride from Frankie McDonald. Cordage took up ther running from the off and was never headed in this 1 mile 2 furlong race which was run on his favoured good to firm ground. Cordage has been running over hurdles since arriving at the yard and had not run on the flat for 18 months.
